This more-than-half a watermelon arrived at my door at 9:30 one evening with a great story. The Connecticut family of five across the way needed to return the rented RV the next day to catch a flight home. By the time they departed they had left me the following: large packages of frozen shrimp and salmon, 3 packages of large hot dogs, package of bacon, 2 alum roasting pans, 3 lg. packages of napkins, 40 bottles of water, some plastic glasses, more napkins, 1 gal. of milk, some bread, boxes of trash bags and freezer bags, toilet paper, salad spinner, and . . . this watermelon. I found homes for most of the list, but ate all the watermelon myself in 3 days. It was SO delicious! August, 2016.
